Senior Recognition Night!
What an accomplishment at the Area 2 FFA Convention this week! Walton Marshall was selected to serve the over 170,000 Texas FFA members as Area 2’s representative on the Texas FFA State Officer Team! He will serve along side of 11 other individuals from across the state and spend the year advocating for agriculture, facilitating workshops, and attending conferences. Walton is the second State FFA Officer EVER from GC, joining Carlie Hollingsworth (2015-16). Walton will be formally installed at the Texas FFA Convention in July.

More Splash-day fun!
PreK,Kinder, and First grade had a great time at the AR Splash Day! They were the first group to use our new inflatable slides! These inflatables were made possible with donations from Targa Resources, GCISD National Honor Society, GCISD PTO...Thank you all! Also a Special thanks to Rich and Sammy for setting up and securing our inflatable in this wind. Also to the Hartl's for the use of their generator. It takes a village and we have an Awesome one!
