Congratulations to these two individuals for winning scholarships at the Texas Tech Meet on November 4. Holley Stiles received a $300 scholarship from the College of Media And Communications for being 1st place Journalism student. Skyler Garcia received a $500 scholarship from the Math and Statistics Department for being 1st place Number Sense student. Congratulations to these two students!!!!

GC FFA members have been taking in the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN this week! Student have been participating in workshops, sessions, watching the finals of National Events, and networking with students from across the country!
Walton Marshall has been serving as a National FFA voting delegate. He is one of only a few hundred from across the country! The decisions he is helping make this week are going to shape the organization for the future.
In addition to events at the convention center, students toured Fair Oaks Farms, the Indiana State Capitol, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Fair Oaks Farms is a working dairy and swine facility that milks 11,000 cows with a carousel and robots and produces 40,000 hogs per year.
We are proud of these students and thankful for all who helped make the trip possible.
