What a ride! Abbie Garza auditioned in the National FFA Talent competition yesterday. She will not be moving on to the semi-finals, but will be one of 30 students to perform in front of a National audience over the next few days. She has the following performance slots:

Over the next few days they will attend workshops, hear from the National FFA Officers, and support Abbie Garza as she competes in the National FFA Talent Competition! Wish her luck! GC FFA had a great showing last night at the Abilene High Invitational! We had 19 teams compete and 12 were in the top 5! In addition, 4 teams won their events. Very proud of this group!
National Honor Society kids are AMAZING! A few gave up their evening to make sure that there was childcare for the elementary teachers to enjoy their much deserved night out. Many NHS members were competing in FFA, but those who weren't showed up and helped out!

We hosted our first FFA Leadership Development Event Invitational in Garden City yesterday! Around 250 students from around the area came to showcase their skills. GC FFA had several teams compete and all performed very well for their first contest! A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped us out!
