The Kats JV 🎾 team competed in the Yellow Ball Invitational tournament at Irion County on Tuesday 3/22. Here are the results:
Texas Brinkley and Julio Talamantes- Boys Doubles Champions🥇
Jared Lopez and Luis Deluna- 3rd Place Boys Doubles🥉
Wesley Blalock and Ethan Castillo- 4th Place Boys Doubles
The Kats varsity 🎾 team competed in the Yellow Ball Invitational tournament at Irion County on Monday 3/21. Here are the results:

The Bearkats & Lady Kats traveled to Odessa to play in the Bearkat Shootout #2. The girls won the tournament shooting a 406. Rylee Wood was the top individual golfer shooting a 90. Shelby Braden was 2nd shooting 101 and Kara Roberts was 5th shooting 106. The boys team of Brody Hoelscher, Evan Fuchs, Mason Halfmann, and Blain Walts competed well.

Garden City is hosting the district academic UIL meet this Saturday (March 26th), the district UIL track meet on April 8th, and the area UIL track meet on April 14th.
The Booster Club will be providing the concession stands for these meets and will need lots of volunteers! Please consider working a slot or two in the concession stand during these meets. It takes many volunteers to feed the many hungry kids and fans at these events. You can sign up through the attached link or by contacting Jamie at 432-264-8031. The GC Math/Science Team competed at the TMSCA State Meet in San Antonio on Saturday. They competed in the 1A/2A Division.

We had several kids that participated in the Reagan County JV invitational 🎾 meet on Thursday 3/17. Here are the results:
Carson Goodwin and Thomas Dyer fell a little short in the quarterfinals against a Big Lake team.
Skyler Garcia and Christopher Dyer won the consolation championship🏅
Both of these teams participated in a bracket with a total of 23 boys doubles teams at this tournament.
